We never stop challenging
the status quo; this is the propelling force that
carries us forward.
We cultivate a culture that
is open to changes. We thoroughly understand that
living by the current standards is simply not good
enough. We constantly review our performance as
a team and brainstorm for improvements. Once we
achieve the current standards, we set higher ones.
Our production managers and
factory managers meet daily to manage scheduling
and master production problems, transpired or anticipated.
A balance scorecard by production lines is posted
on the bulletin board monthly and each production
line is evaluated against its predetermined standards.
At Orient, we do not limit
continuous improvement to the quality management
dimension; we integrate it to our employees' personal
lives as well. We provide continuing training programs
to our employees to engage them in self-betterment
and continuous learning. A special committee is
formed and charged with the responsibilities to
devise, organize and review training courses regularly.
Our courses can be divided into three main categories:
| Management |
Leadership,
Team Work, and Quality Management training,
etc. |
| Factory
workers and other staff |
Design,
English, and Microsoft Office training, etc. |
| All |
leisure
courses on Tai Chi, social dance, and dinning
etiquette, etc. |
